10 AM -- Woke up to the house phone ringing and I figured I should pull myself out of bed. It's my dad calling to tell me that my stepmom has been standing outside my house ringing the doorbell, knocking, and calling my cell phone for the past 10-15 minutes. All to bring me my antibiotic. What a lovely lady. Also turns out that I slept for 11-12 hours last night and woke up fresh as a daisy. Oh you know how I do.
10-11 -- Facebook and bagel
11 AM -- Decided to pull myself together enough to go to Kroger to get a movie from Redbox and some sort of drink.
11:30 AM -- One People magazine, Two Fuze drinks, and 2 Redbox movies [The Romantics and Charlie St. Cloud] later, I'm on my way back home.
11:35-2 PM -- Facebook, Yahoo! Mail, lunch, and The Romantics. Wow. Cannot even begin to tell you how much that movie sucked. It looked SO good [for some reason, I was in a romantic comedy mood. Maybe it's cause I've watched both Batmans, Inception, and A Few Good Men in the past 3 days] in the trailer and so I thought, 'Hey. Let's try it.' Started off good and all. Music was great. It was a decent movie until the end. Then they just cut it off and didn't even tell you what happened.
Who DOES that? That's just like Sleepless In Seattle when they meet up on the top of the Empire State Building and you never know if they get together. They just stare at each other for a good 5 minutes. It's almost creepy. If I were the little boy, I would've been concerned.
I need concrete endings, people.
2-3PM -- Finally got someone to work for me tonight. I tried almost EVERYONE and only one person could. God bless her. I was not about to infect the entire Tri-State area and Ohio.
Then I decided that I could start cleaning my room. Yeah. I got about 3 articles of clothing off the floor. Bring on that endurance.
3-4PM -- Facebook. And whatever else I did. Oh yeah. I read my book. Wow. Let me be an example to you of how fast the computer/TV can kill your brain cells.
4-NOW -- More Facebook. Realized that I'm starting to feel worse again. Woot woot! And, as I said on my Facebook status, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have killer abs by the time I'm through with this cough. 6-pack, HERE. I. COME.
That has been my day so far. I knew you wanted to relive that with me. Although I do want to say, kudos to God on blessing us with an absolutely gorgeous day. I had my windows open and everything. Thank you, King Jesus. [:
Oh! How is the Non-Awkward Week of Nay and Abby going, you ask? Quite splendid! Well. It's not like I've had much of an opportunity to be awkward considering I've been at home most of the time. But I think Nay is doing very well. If you know her personally, don't be afraid to congratulate her.
In other news, George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Evan Rachel Wood, and Marisa Tomei are in town at Xavier University shooting their film The Ides of March. Yes. It is quite fortunate that I have family that goes to Xavier. While we have seen their personal trailers, we haven't gotten a view of any of the actors/actresses themselves yet. Well...some people have. We haven't.
For once, I feel proud to live in Ohio. And yes, that is, indeed, a pathetic reason to feel proud to live in Ohio.
Song of the Day: Preparedness -- The Bird and the Bee
While The Romantics was rather disappointing, I really enjoyed the music and this was the song they kicked off the movie with. LOVELOVELOVE. So spunky and different.
Arms Open Wide..
